Have You Lost Your "Muchness"?

Are you "not so much"? Are you no longer "all that and a bag of chips"? Has your "get up and go"..."got up and went"?

Just Saw "Alice in Wonderland". A central question was "Is this the real Alice?" She looked like Alice - a bit older; she sounded like Alice but she didn't act like Alice.

This Alice wasn't as curious, wasn't as believing (I'll wake up soon) and wasn't as adventurous. Society and its rules had caused her to conform - had begun to tame her spirit.

The Hatter said she was Alice, but not much. She had lost her "muchness".

So again, have you lost your "muchness" Are you no longer the real you? Have you settled and let "society" make all the rules and bend you to them? Do you no longer ask questions out of curiosity? Have you kept growing but stopped learning and doing? (Some would question whether you can grow if you stop learning.)

Have you buried the dream or placed it in the back of the top shelf in the closet. Are you afraid to "slay the Jaberwocky" or whatever your dragon is? You don't want to be the Champion?!?

Life is about love and championing causes. Something - a person or a cause or a value - beyond just you. A cause that inspires you; something that will drive you long after you've become prosperous. A cause you can create legacy around. An adventure where you think of at least "6 impossible things a day". Your "muchness".

When Alice woke from her dream, she saw her world in a different way. The resources (people and opportunity) had existed in her reality but she had been too blinded by rules and roles to see it. It was all within her reach. To be sure, there would be scars and scares but the dream was worth it all.

Is it time to be the champion again? To break out of your shell. To soar like the butterfly and not crawl like the caterpillar. To be free and smile like the Cheshire Cat!!

Go get back your "muchness" and be "all that and a bag of chips"!

Kids and Toddlers Halloween Costumes

Posted on 10:40

Halloween is undoubtedly one of the most exciting times of the year. There are so many things for them to look forward to; trick-or-treating, costume parties, hay rides, and feeling scared! The excitement builds as kids try to make the biggest decision of their young lives, what to be for Halloween. The hardest part about making this decision is the hundreds of choices there are in kids and Toddlers Halloween Costumes. There are scary costumes, funny costumes, hero costumes, character costumes, and animal costumes. Sometimes it is easiest to purchase a costume without the child being present because looking through them can be overwhelming for a child.

I usually purchase kids & Toddlers Halloween Costumes myself. Each year has been a success. In our hometown, the kids walk in a parade through town during school hours with their costumes on. It is a really big deal. The teachers dress up, the kids dress up, and the younger siblings dress up. Taking photographs of the kids in their costumes makes the memories last forever. The one piece sleeper type costumes work wonderfully for toddlers. They usually have a hood as part of the costume that has ears or eyes attached to it. They are also warm, which works great for trick-or-treating on a cold October night.

Older kids love to play the part. They are more aware of what is on television, so a lot of them want to be a specific character. What a great opportunity for kids to use their imagination. A lot of kids will use a character costume year round. Once Halloween is over my kids play outside with their costumes. Buying kids & Toddlers Halloween Costumes is actually like buying a toy that they can use for a long time, as well as being recycled for other siblings to use in the future. Helping your child wow his or her classmates with the coolest costume will be something your child will never forget. Everyone loves to remember their best costumes.

No matter what your child is interested in, seeing the excitement in their eyes when you are helping them get ready is fantastic. Buying great kids & Toddlers Halloween Costumes is worth the money because before you know it, they are grown up and no longer participating in the games of childhood. However, the costumes are snatched up quickly, so don't waste any more time. It will be Halloween before you know it and your kids will be so excited. Find the perfect costume for your kids while there is still time.
